Think about what you see when coming up behind a vehicle on the side of the road, if you notice flashing lights in the taillights (standard affordable lighting) you don't pay a whole lot of attention. However if you see a flashing light all the way across the roof line and all the way across just above the bumper of a vehicle you tend to slow down to figure out what's actually going on, it's human nature. The perception of this is related to emergency vehicles (police, fire, rescue and towing). When paired with our back window kit you actually double that effect. This helps with oncoming traffic by having safety lighting in the line of view in cars that sit lower and trucks that sit higher.
This safety light is 49 inches long and designed to go across any surface on the exterior of your vehicle. Installation is a breeze since we use 3M VHB tape for mounting. If under your tailgate it has a plastic piece, you can typically remove it without any issues. The wire typically is run to the drivers side over to the frame rail then up into the engine compartment or to wherever you decide to enter the cab for your switch.

Super bright and very easy to install!! Best strobe lights I ever bought!! Very noticeable when lit and hidden when not in use!! Highly recommend and worth the money!

Installed an amber/white on my Dodge ram 1500. Used the 48" u channel that is sold here to mount it in the center(due to the spare tire release hole). Easy to install and brighter than my Feniex Cannon mounted in the rear tail lights.

Awesome light!
Have been wanting a light to put under my tailgate for rear pertection on emergency scenes and this product fit just perfect and gets the job done! I bought red/red and it catches people's attention well. Several guys at the station have thought about buying one too!
